Artist Nelly Agassi uses her body as a platform on which she performs repetitive actions dealing with femininity, physical pain, and emotional experiences. From the beginning of her career in the mid-1990s, Agassi's video works have documented these actions with an immediacy that resonates with the art of the 1970s, which placed the body at the forefront.
