  • Date iconDecember 3 2025 - August 31 2026

Lea Nikel’s distinct voice, touch, and tempo are expressed in sundrenched canvases pulsating with energy. Nikel (1918–2005) bridged global post-war abstraction and Israeli modernism. From riotous to meditative, from dense materiality to sparse surfaces, her works offer surprises and discoveries.

Forty years after Nikel’s last exhibition at the Israel Museum, Path to Eden introduces new generations to her depth, originality, fearless experimentation, and vibrant color.
