A display of works depicting scenes from the New Testament and the lives of Christian saints, exploring the subject of sainthood and its visual representation. The exhibition presents a variety of Dutch, Italian, and Spanish paintings and French sculptures as well as revealing aspects of the process of collection and research undertaken by the Department of European Art.
