Founded in 1985, the Jerusalem-based Zik Group defies definition, drawing freely on a wide range of media including theater, music, art, architecture, design, and film. From interdisciplinary performances to site-specific sculptures and installations, Zik's activities have made the group a unique phenomenon in the local cultural scene. The exhibition premiered a new work by the group, accompanied by a multimedia presentation of their activities over the previous 20 years, objects from past performances, and demonstrations of the group's work process through models, sketchbooks, and films.
