The vase was once decorated with bronze buttons that were lost but their imprints are clearly visible. On the shoulder a richly decorated frieze consisting of modeled ribs, impressed grooves, lines - plain or hatched - and triangles especially below the handle. The ribbon handle is bordered by hatched lines, and the imprint of two bronze buttons is visible at the top. The provenance is probably Bisenzio.
