The Hebrew inscriptions mention that the box was donated to the Burial Society of the Holy Community of Galanta by Menka Kalish and his wife Chaya Fradel, the Hebrew year, and the phrases "Prayers for the deceased" and "Righteousness [Charity] saves from death" (Proverbs 10:2)
