A George II silver cruet stand with two silver mounted bottles by Paul de Lamerie, London 1742. This stand is of typically simple form, being intended to hold three elaborate casters, in addition to bottles for oil and vinigar, which incidentally are not marked. The marks on the bottom of the stand, however, are superbly clear. The stand is engraved with armorials.
