A mid-18th century Irish silver sauce boat, by Samuel Walker, Dublin, circa 1750, engraved with a crest. This sauce boat with its florid repoussé decoration in the rococo manner, is typical of Irish work of this period, which was less fluent in design and execution than comparable London pieces.
