A George III silver soup tureen and stand by Paul Storr, London, 1794, engraved with the armorials of the Marquess of Camden.
This important tureen formed part of a large service, now dispersed, made for the Marquess of Camden, who was appointed to the position of Lieutenant Governor of Ireland in 1795. Originally there were at least four tureens, as this example is numbered four, and on the table can also be seen twelve plates and four smaller tureens from the same service.
