Arrowheads
Varied Sites Neolithic Period Khiamian, Sultanian, Tahunian and Yarmukian cultures, 11,500-8,000 years ago Flint The bow-and-arrow was invented 11,000 years ago. No arrow shafts or bows from this time have been preserved, however, since they were made of wood. Only the flint arrowheads have survived.
