Leopold Krakauer - Painter & Architect, 1890-1954: Born in Vienna but active in Israel since 1924, Leopold Krakauer combined his career as an architect with his occupation as a painter throughout his life. Both creative forces can be appreciated in this retrospective exhibition which shows his graphic works - from the early drawings of flowers done in Vienna in 1918 to his last drawing of a thistle in Israel in 1954 - as well as the architectural sketches, models, and photographs of the structures he planned and built in the pre-state years.
