500-Year Old Spanish Bible: A complete and illuminated Bible, written in 1941. This exhibit commemorated the 500th anniversary of the expulsion of the Jews from Spain. The initial letters of the Biblical chapters are lavishly illuminated with colorful geometric and floral motifs.
