Spanning 10 centuries, a collection of rare icons, illuminated manuscripts, ceremonial crosses, and other objects which reflected Ehtiopia's contact with Eastern and Western cultures. While they show a strong Byzantine influence, these works are nevertheless uniquely Ethiopian, an expression of an ancient spiritual heritage.
