This work by Shibetz Cohen was completed in two stages first, the artist blocked in the page with a pencil, creating a dark surface, rough yet shiny, because of the effect produced by the graphite of the pencil. Then he photographed his reflection as it appeared on this surface, and the result was a blurred image of what looks like a phantom emerging from the page.
