Inbar
Barak, born 1971
Inbar Barak is an interaction designer
whose work focuses on visualizing informational systems and
time-based interactivity in the form of installations and
online projects. She explores the potential of digital systems
that allow the observer to control and manipulate the timeline
in the object of observation. Inbar holds a Bachelor of Arts
in Photography from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design
in Jerusalem and a Masters Degree in Interactive Telecommunication
from New York University. Inbar has worked for award-winning
studios, such as Picture-Projects Studio, New York, which
specialize in online documentaries, as well as being a freelance
consultant and interaction designer. Her work has been exhibited
in New York, Paris, and Israel, and her interactive projects
have won awards in competitions in the United States and Europe.
Ruth Ron,
born 1972
Ruth Ron is an architect whose work
focuses on the extension and de-formation of real space by
using virtual assets that explore the borders between architecture
and technology, form and media. Ruth received a Bachelor of
Architecture degree from the Technion Israel Institute of
Technology, Haifa, a Masters Degree in Advanced Architectural
Design from Columbia University, New York, and a Masters Degree
in Interactive Telecommunication from New York University.
She has worked on virtual and real design projects for several
cutting-edge architectural firms in New York, including Asymptote
and LOT-EK, as well as having exhibited in New York, Seattle,
and Paris. Ruth is currently concentrating on interaction
programming and physical computation that deals with 3D environments
and animation.
